Gaines, Michigan
Gaines is a village in Genesee County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 380 at the 2010 census. The village is within Gaines Township.
==Government==
The village was incorporated under the General Law Village Act provisions. The governing body is the Village Council which comprises the Village President and 6 trustees. The trustees and President are elected. Treasurer and Clerk are hired. The trustee are elected for two-year terms.
